the boys settling in for the first fire - they wanted hot dogs and marshmallows to roast
but this Writer was ill-prepared ...and the boys are learning all about Thanksgiving in school
the boys trying to take one simultaneously-smiling picture. Didn't happen.
And new pajamas and socks brought HUGE comfort to all 5 of us.
It's the small things in life, isn't it?
Daylight Saving Time changed the evenings here and we all head upstairs for the bedtime routine
(which still takes aound 45 minutes, start to finish)
at around 7:15 nowadays,
a far cry from the late-night Sonic ice cream sundae runs and park playdates of summer evenings.
Colds and coughs are a weekly occurance lately and
we are keeping Tylenol in business single-handedly.

and there is so very, very much to be thankful for.
Not the least of which are my three very noisy, shrieking, tumbling, breathlessly laughing boys.
BEST QUOTES OF THE WEEK:
"He's like R2-D2 and I'm like C-3PO." - Doodlebug, after translating his little brother's request into English for me
"Seriously. Mama. I'm FOUR. Seriously." - Honey Monkey, negotiating to get out of a nap
"...and Mater." - Little Bunny, ending a list of his best friends with a Disney Cars movie character
